Overview

The first EYES Train-the-Trainer (TTT) course brings together 24 youth workers (from Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Gabon) to gain the technical, facilitation, and intercultural skills needed to lead and multiply high-quality virtual youth exchanges in their communities.

Across 4 Modules and multiple assignments, participants will learn to:

Confidently use the EYES Virtual Platform for course delivery and community interaction
Facilitate inclusive, engaging, and safe online sessions using digital tools and gamification
Navigate and mediate conflicts in multicultural online youth settings
Apply practical strategies for youth-led facilitation and co-creation

Assignments & Certification

Short interactive task or reflection at the end of each module
Final mini-capstone project delivered during Day 4
Certificate of Completion issued after full participation and task submission

By completing this course, you will:
+ Confidently navigate and manage the EYES Virtual Platform for intercultural youth exchanges (Digital Competence – Youthpass; Digital & Media Literacy – YOCOMO; Digital & Online Facilitation – ETS)
+ Facilitate inclusive and engaging online youth sessions using a variety of digital tools and methods (Multilingual Competence – Youthpass; Designing & Implementing Learning Processes – YOCOMO; Facilitating Learning in an Online Environment – ETS)
+ Apply gamification and interactive strategies to sustain youth engagement in virtual spaces (Cultural Awareness & Expression – Youthpass; Creativity & Innovation – YOCOMO; Creating Supportive Learning Environments – ETS)
+ Address and mediate conflicts in multicultural virtual settings through active, responsibility-based approaches (Social & Civic Competence – Youthpass; Managing Intercultural Learning – YOCOMO; Intercultural Competence – ETS)
+ Ensure ethical practice, GDPR compliance, and safeguarding in online youth work (Personal, Social & Learning to Learn – Youthpass; Ethical & Professional Practice – YOCOMO; Professional Conduct & Safety – ETS)
+ Adapt facilitation approaches for low-bandwidth and mobile-first participants (Sense of Initiative & Entrepreneurship – Youthpass; Adaptability & Problem Solving – YOCOMO; Accessibility & Inclusion – ETS)
